I hope these lesson helps are informative.  However, they are just suggestions and in no way meant to replace the lesson manual.  Rather, my intent is to give you extra ideas in case your lesson runs short or to help add to your lesson.  Only you have the inspiration needed to fulfill your calling.  Most of the following suggestions come from, or are adapted from, the Friend Magazine, Primary Manuals or FHE Manuals.  May you be blessed in your efforts to teach the children about our Savior and His gospel.   If you have something that you've prepared and you would like to share it with all of us, feel free to e-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. TIPS AND IDEAS -

- Great idea for Junior and Senior Primary Teachers - Every week I post a picture of the Savior on the outside of our classroom door. Before I let my little 6 year olds into the classroom, I ask them to enter one at a time, reverently, and then the LAST in line gets to "invite" the Savior into our classroom to join us. I then tape the picture up on the wall where the Savior can see us. This has added a huge change in the reverence in our classroom. The children feel special that THEY got to invite Him in to be with US. (Idea by Nanci Jarman / ga01112008)

She just submitted one for Lesson 15. You might be ahead of her.

The powerpoints are in the helps for each lesson up to lesson 15 so far. For some reason, a lot of teachers seem to be a lesson ahead of me (we've already had stake conference in my area). However, a lot seem to also be on the same one I'm on. I am currently working on 16 as well as retweaking the Easter one I did last year from the OT manual. They should both be posted by the end of the week.

Is it me or is there no Easter lesson for this manual?

No! It isn't just you! There's a note at the beginning of the manual saying there isn't one for Easter or Christmas because we are studying the life of Jesus this year. There are some good ideas from last year in the OT manual section (lesson 46?). Ericka

Thank you so much for sharing that. That is very humbling to hear!

I just want to say THANK YOU! These presentations are awesome, and really saved me last week. I was traveling, and couldn't prepare the lesson until late Saturday night. Using Ericka's presentation made it so simple, and the kids enjoyed it too!
