  • Leah Mae  - Sharing Time Helps!

I love how much more excited I get about teaching when I take the time to learn myself. You can read about some ideas for study on my blog,

    Have a wonderful month!
    Leah

  • Lisa  - Thank you!

Oh, you have some darling ideas for this month! I love, love, love the braiding idea! I think this will be what I use for my object lesson and that way the kiddos can take a braided bracelet home with them as a reminder for the week! Man, what a great idea!

  • Roxann  - 5th sunday

    Any thoughts on 5th
    sunday sharing time

  • Audrie

We are going to let the music leaders take the whole time and practice the songs for the program and some of the other ones they don't get to sing much any more.

  • Ruth Campbell  - 5th Sunday idea

I am preparing cards the children can put together to look at during the Sacrament to help them focus their attention on the Savior and their baptismal covenant.

  • Marilee

Ruth, that's a really cute idea.. do you have a sample of what you are putting on the cards?

  • Ruth Campbell  - Sacrament cards

I have scriptures to study from the Preach My Gospel book, Blessings of Prayer and Scripture Study quotes, Family Home Evening Promise, Baptismal Covenant list, Sacrament Prayers, Ten Commandments, Hymns Promise, My Gospel Standards chart, and The Articles of Faith.

  • Taffy  - 5th Sunday

We are going to have a special sharing time on family history. We've invited our ward specialists to come in and teach.

The other idea we had was to do a special needs sharing time. Our stake primary did a special training for the teachers and now we'd like to involve the children.

we're playing a family fued type game. 4 categories each one covering each weekly topic. i'll have each category on cardboard with answers covered up. have a child from each team come up. ask the question. who ever rings in first gets to take the question. I may just do 2 strikes the other team gets a chance to steal :). whoever wins the round gets the point.
