  • Carol Bamforth  - thanks Jill for sharing talents.

    B) Thanks so much Jill for taking the time to share your talents. Sharing time, is such a special time to teach the children about the Gospel and their importance in it. As a councilor in Primary I get stuck with something that will be meaningful to the children we serve. But your lessons help me in so many ways.

  • Susan Darr  - THank you

Thank you for keeping the web page updated. I know it takes time and energy. I use this page all the time as a primary president, full time mom, and full time teacher. I love the ideas shared and how it helps me in my calling do a better job.

  • Kim  - Awesome

I think your site is a serious life saver. I think your ideas work so well with our group. Just enough variety, movement and talking! Thank you.

  • Jill Browne  - I love your ideas!!

Hi Jill, my name is Jill too.
I love your ideas! They are a huge help and the kids love them. Thank you!!
I wanted to give something back, so from your boat game, we created two boats. One is green and the other is blue. They are 8x10 .jpg files. We also create a 4x6 .jpg as a handout for the kids to take home. Hopefully this will help them remember the lesson. Here is the link:

Thanks for making learning about the gospel so fun!

  • Jill  - your the winner of the day

Hey, thanks for sharing these. If I were still in primary (instead of Y.W's) I would totally use yours instead of mine. Super cute!

  • Niky Graffagnino  - Awesome

I love your idea!!! Thank you for putting this together

  • Melissa

Keep up the great work I totally depend on your help.
    Thanks Again,
    Melissa

  • Jill  - Happy comments

Thank you all so so much for all the wonderful comments. Whenever I get stuck on June's ideas I come and read them :)

  • June Hakanson  - June-wonderful!

I add my thanks for all your efforts and willingness to share! The Primary children are going to love the tithing sharing time.

  • Chelsey  - Love this, but I need help. Week 3

I am a little confused on how the game works on one part.
Have them draw and read a scenario card. If the card tells them to choose a blessing, they must first reveal where the blessing is. (Where what blessing is? And how do they reveal it?) Please help. Thanks

  • Jill  - blessing cards

Hi, sorry about the confusion. It always makes sense in my head ;) The blessings are the attached cards that you place behind the windows on the board. At the first of the lesson you open each window and reveal what is there and talk about it. Then later, each child has to try to remember what is behind each particular window. Does that help?

  • Jeanette  - Week 3

I love this lesson but on the part where the children choose and read the scenario card then they choose a blessing to go with that scenario, I assume there are no wrong answers here. Each scenario seems to fit with all the blessings. Am I missing something?

  • Jill  - Week 3 ?s

Yes, once they read their scenario card they can choose any window. They just need to remember what is behind the window first before you open it. If they guess correctly they get to keep that blessing. There are not correlating scenarios to blessings. Does that make better sense? Maybe, possibly, or have I just confused everyone :s

  • jessica rodgers

Like many others have said I too appreciate you taking the time to share what you have made for sharing times! My kidos love when I plan fun stuff and you make my life so much simpler!

  • Rachel  - Word of Wisdom

I love it. If only creating such great lessons and materials was as easy as you make it seem. Thank you for sharing your inspiration and hard work.

  • Diane Ashton

  • Janell  - Word of Wisdom Week

Jill, you are my go to girl when it is my turn to teach sharing time. Your ideas always go over well in my primary. I love how you really try to follow the sharing time outline and just enhance the ideas suggested. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in every week!
